Reviews after the listing comes back

Google’s own help says reviews can be removed after reinstatement. We do not say they usually return.

If the listing comes back, that is reinstatement. It is not your old map rank. It is not a promise that reviews reappear.

Official Google Business Profile Help — About missing or delayed reviews (answer 10313341): reviews can be removed after a Business Profile is reinstated. If that happens, contact support. Reviews removed for policy violations will not be restored.

  1. 1. Screenshot the hour it returns

Star rating and review count, same hour the listing is visible again. Date-stamp it. That is the baseline.

  2. 2. Wait 48–72 hours

Do not open a second appeal. Reinstatement is not rank, and it is not a reviews ticket.

  3. 3. Missing-reviews path on the original case

If the count is still short, use Google’s missing-reviews path on the original case. Do not file a new reinstatement appeal for missing reviews.

  4. 4. Rank is not the listing

A live profile can sit nowhere near its old pack position. Anyone who sells “rank back” with the reinstatement is selling hope.
