If the listing comes back, that is reinstatement. It is not your old map rank. It is not a promise that reviews reappear.
Official Google Business Profile Help — About missing or delayed reviews (answer 10313341): reviews can be removed after a Business Profile is reinstated. If that happens, contact support. Reviews removed for policy violations will not be restored.
-
1. Screenshot the hour it returns
Star rating and review count, same hour the listing is visible again. Date-stamp it. That is the baseline.
-
2. Wait 48–72 hours
Do not open a second appeal. Reinstatement is not rank, and it is not a reviews ticket.
-
3. Missing-reviews path on the original case
If the count is still short, use Google’s missing-reviews path on the original case. Do not file a new reinstatement appeal for missing reviews.
-
4. Rank is not the listing
A live profile can sit nowhere near its old pack position. Anyone who sells “rank back” with the reinstatement is selling hope.
Community Optional extra reading: SERoundtable / Amy Toman on reviews missing after reinstatement. Community, not Google Help. We do not say reviews “usually” return. Google’s page is the primary cite.
