Packet · file order

Named, ordered, open, ready

Files in this order before you touch Google’s form. Packet files are named and ordered for a short attach window. The 60-minute timing is COMMUNITY (Sterling Sky process writeup). We have not confirmed that minute count on support.google.com. Official Google Help: do not stack appeals for the same issue before a decision.

Have the files named, ordered, and open before you start the form. Do not rummage a Downloads folder while the form is live.

  1. 01 — Registry extract

BC Registry, Ontario Business Registry (ServiceOntario), Quebec REQ, or the equivalent in your province or territory. Operating name matches the listing.

  2. 02 — Workplace coverage

WorkSafeBC, WSIB, CNESST, or the WCB for your province.

  3. 03 — Trade authority

Technical Safety BC / trade ticket, Skilled Trades Ontario / Certificate of Qualification, RBQ or CCQ — where the trade needs it.

  4. 04 — Municipal or regional licence

The licence Google can match to the listing. A PO Box licence does not match a house pin.

  5. 05 — CRA business number

The BN in the operating name.

  6. 06 — Utility in the operating name

Hydro, Hydro-Québec, or the local utility. Not a generic residential-name bill as the first file.

COMMUNITY COMMUNITY (Sterling Sky process writeup): after you open the evidence form, attach files within about 60 minutes or they may not stick. We have not confirmed that timing on support.google.com, so we do not call it Google’s rule. We name and order Packet files so you can use a short window. Official Google Help covers do not submit multiple appeals for the same issue before a decision (https://support.google.com/business/answer/13597551). Some statuses read Can’t be appealed.
